🌟”We loved everything about the house and the Laura is truly the kindest, sweetest and most accommodating host ever. The house has so many beautiful whimsical touches that you feel happy and relaxed as soon as you walk through the door. Its a great location too. The home is right by the water, beach, boardwalk, nature center, delicious homemade ice cream and restaurants. You really don’t need to plan anything other than booking the home. It was has a great little back yard too.“

🌟”This place was unbelievable clean and so tidy and organized even down to the so called junk draw that everyone has, except Laura and Danna….theirs was labeled!!
And, so was everything, without having to open up every cabinet to find what you need. They also stocked extras of everything one needs. Heck, even the toilet was fun to use at night! Their house was so cool, too….the decks and the backyard with the sounds from the small pond as well as all the fun backyard stuff is there if you need. The neighborhood was so quiet and nice people saying hello. There is also plenty of things for everyone to do so close by. So, go ahead and book!“

🌟”This property was super clean and a cute charming home. The hosts have thought of everything you might possibly need to have a memorable experience!
Every drawer and cabinet is labeled as to its contents so there is no searching for anything. The fenced back yard was great for a small dog. The ice cream shop on the corner sells yummy treats. The Walnut Beach coffee shop around the corner was great for breakfast and lunch. But most importantly, the host is quick to respond to any request or inquiry and go out of her way to help you!“

🌟”We had 6 adults traveling from out of state for a wedding in an unfamiliar area. The recommended hotels were 30+ minutes away, so we opted for this rental instead which was minutes away. What a great decision! When at the home, we spent a majority of our time on the porch by the gas fireplace. We also had access to the grill and patio which were fantastic. The homeowners even offered to start a fire for us when we returned home from the wedding. Very easy to communicate with them, and they made sure to introduce themselves as they live on the property as well. If ever in Waldoboro again, I’d definitely stay here!“

We needed a place close to Friendship Maine to be near old friends and family. I haven’t been back to Maine in years and the area has changed with lots more to do.The place was super clean and roomy. Plus it had the full kitchen which was good. We went to the local Hannaford’s stocked up and made breakfast every morning. I really enjoyed my stay.“

Very clean and comfortable space inside. Quiet area with nice outdoor space. Two of the bedrooms are up two flights of (beautiful) stairs, with a 1/2 bath for those rooms. Downstairs was comfortable and outside was nice with chairs and corn hole. Very clean bathrooms and lots of nice extra amenities like water at bedsides. Appreciate that after a long trip! Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked if making any big meals there. WiFi was excellent! We were there in a heatwave and appreciated that the a/c was on for us and the house was pretty cool.“

🌟”We enjoyed our stay at Laura’s place. It is less than a block from the Long Island Sound, a great ice cream shop and some good food. We brought our dog, Skipper, and they left him a small bag of doggie treats along with a cabinet full of dog things. Lots of towels, linens, well stocked kitchen and all sorts of toiletries and supplies needed for a trip away. Most importantly, Laura was a great communicator. I really enjoyed her messages and communication. Would stay here again.“

🌟”A Little Slice of Heaven…They say the “devil is in the detail”, if that is so, then the devil is alive and well at The Big Easy!
This property is by far, one of the best rentals I’ve stayed at, opinion second by a teenager, so you know it must be so. The home is perfectly located mere steps from various small beaches and approximately four blocks from Walnut Beach, a beautiful, calm beache perfect for children. There are a number of good places to eat, including a delicious ice cream parlor about 100′ from the house, and La Catrina, a Mexican spot around the corner. If you are too tired to eat out, order from “It’s Just Wings” a local spot, so good! Laura, Dana and the property manager have gone through great lenghts to ensure that the guests’ every need was met, From fluffy towels, to beach chairs, toiletries and every kitchen gadget imaginable, they even had doggy pantry! There was nothing better this week than seating in one of the porches, taking in the breeze under their cute palms. This little gem of a home has it all. We can’t wait to come back!!!“

Walking distance to the beach, and great restaurants. Fabulous communication before, during and after the stay as well. All the little things they’ve thought of make this a 5+. There are lovely seating areas outside with on-site parking. Inside there are comfortable oversized furniture with plenty of outlets & USB ports available for all the electronics. Lovely decorations inside, including playful lighting gave this a very home vibe. Definitely recommend Laura’s place!“

My husband & I enjoyed an evening on the deck, which included a gas lit fire pit. We tested our knowledge about Maine history by reading through the Maine trivia book that we found on the bookshelf. Laura, the hostess, was very responsive to questions I had prior to check-in and was proactive on expectations of guests, which I found very helpful. The listing was correct. Everything was clean, well thought-out, and thorough. Cabinets, shelves, and drawers were labeled for ease of finding things. It was well-stocked with cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, and the like. We had two chill dogs with us and they were quite pleased with the water bowls and treats left for them. We were surprised and pleased to find treats for us as well. Overall, it was a great place to stay with everything that we needed to make our getaway fabulous.“

🌟”This was the best rental we have ever had. Everything was so thought out down to leaving extra toothbrushes or anything you might have forgotten. The cleanliness for me was the most outstanding as I am very particular about that. Traveling with my dog, I am always worried about places not wanting dogs, but my baby loved the place and made himself right at home. Laura even has a cabinet with dog bowls and treats so I know she and Dana know how important it is for us dog lovers to feel comfortable.
I can’t say enough about this place. It is lovely, inviting, cozy and the location is wonderful. Being a previous Milford resident I found it like a home away from home and look forward to coming again and maybe even trying a trip to Maine!!!

The home is beautiful and VERY clean!
It is located steps from the publicly accessible beach and the house has absolutely anything you might need for a day outdoors from ice packs, coolers, beach and sand gear, kayaks, chairs…etc. At home, there were plenty of outdoor spaces to relax with multiple porches, extra toiletries and towels, a dog crate and even a cold beer mug ready in the freezer which was a nice touch. There were excellent sight seeing suggestions in the guide book and my group and I went to visit every landmark listed. Also, the local deli makes great NYC style sandwiches.
I would recommend this host and property to anyone looking for a quiet beach town to visit whether on season or off.”

🌟”Laura’s house in Milford, Connecticut is absolutely beautiful! The furniture is unique and very comfortable and adds to the atmosphere of the home. The walls, floors, counter tops, etc. are beautiful and the entire house is so nicely coordinated. The home comes fully equipped with every possible amenity a guest could ask for. We enjoyed our morning coffee on each of the three decks and we enjoyed the sunshine as we relaxed in the fenced in backyard. The home is on a quiet street with a view of the ocean from the front yard.
Laura is a wonderful host, very responsive, and really cares about creating an inviting environment for each of her guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Laura’s home and were sorry when our vacation came to a close.“

“I highly recommend Laura’s Airbnb. It was spotless, the beds were extremely comfortable, and Laura went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She thought of everything. For instance, she had all the cabinets and drawers labeled in the kitchen. That may seem trivial, but at our previous Airbnb, we had to open all the cabinets and drawers to find what we needed. The fire pits also added some beautiful ambiance at night. If you have the opportunity, I’d highly recommend staying here.“

The place had everything we needed and more. There were games, movies, cozy blankets and even a spare toothbrush which came in handy since my husband left his behind at our previous stop. The garden was absolutely beautiful and there was a wonderful area to grill while enjoying the yard, playing a game of cornhole and even watching a visiting chipmunk. We enjoyed everything about stay and only wished we had stayed longer. Thank you Laura and Dana! We will be back when we visit Maine again….we still need to go on the puffins cruise.“

“This little getaway spot is the perfect home base for a mid-coast getaway! Cabin-feel indeed! The place was cozy, spacious, comfortable, and was a short drive from popular mid-coast attractions. All amenities we needed as well as a full kitchen set-up made things super easy.
Laura was a great host and gave us some recommendations of nearby trails as well as helped us get an outdoor fire going one of the evenings we stayed. Laura even provided amenities for our pup who was traveling with us with some extra dog bowls, treats, and extra waste bags. We LOVED our stay!“

Close to Bridgeport (daughters’ graduation was being held at total mortgage arena) and New Haven (where she goes to school/lives). It was great being able to take pics on the beautiful beach too!!

“Great stay! The property is described accurately, is easy to find & enter independently. The village has tremendous charm and the apartment has really cool old world architecture. Laura is quick to communicate is extremely considerate, granting me early check in and late check out during the multiple snow storms that affected the area. The driveway & all walkways were cleared/shoveled every time without question or hesitation.
I was able to get some time in at the Camden Ski Bowl and was rather impressed. Then returned to my cozy warm abode to watch even more snow fall off the balcony while enjoying my cherished evening bourbon. “I travel a lot & this is by far the best yet & the description was spot on! The home literally 1 min. off Route 1. Once up the hillside all evidence of a major road disappeared, quiet & peaceful, exactly what I needed after a long drive.
The 1st morning I got to relax with coffee before my business stops & the amount of natural light flowing in via floor to ceiling windows was heavenly! Downtown is really cute with a river view.
Drip as well as k-cup was available, snacks, water, beer & basic pantry items supplied. All was new except some neat antiques with an awesome Bluetooth Radio in the Parlor.
Bedrooms had spa robes, shower bombs & Body Pillows! I have never had an Airbnb with all that! The bed was perfect & since I spent several nights that wasn’t misperceived from exhaustion. I booked this for myself, my wife couldn’t make it, but she is gonna love this place, the big kitchen & sunny porch when we come to hit Acadia, this place is perfectly distanced for a day drive up.”

“I highly recommend choosing this place to escape any stress and pressure you might have. It’s a magical, cozy home with just the right amount of charm and all the benefits of new and modern. Hard to explain how it feels but what I can say is that I took my 13 year old, 17 year old and boyfriend and we all had a profound, positive reaction. It was as though so much care and thought was put into the home that it spoke to each of us in some unique capacity. Our host Laura was beyond attentive and far exceeded my expectations! “Such a wonderful home and experience! Laura was an amazing host, and everything she described in the listing was very accurate. A very quiet yet busy neighborhood with cafes, a restaurant and an ice cream shop right across the street. The nearby beach is also a very short walk, which made it easy to transport chairs back and forth. The home itself is very charming. It’s something we could see ourselves living in without having to make any changes. There were a lot of amenities in the home, i.e. smart tv, plates and utensils, plenty of towels, washer/dryer, as we didn’t have to worry about bringing anything extra for our stay. We also spent a lot of time comfortably sitting out on the front porch! We hope to come back here one day.”
“This place is a gem! It is a beautiful house decorated with love. It’s super clean with anything you could possibly need. Beds were comfy and bed linens/ towels were all new and great quality. AC and Wi-Fi were top notch. We felt very much at home.

Laura is quick to respond and has been consistently accommodating. She leaves flowers and candies for me in the apartment and takes her housekeeping duties seriously, I mean these properties are CLEAN!
Dana is always improving something but I never see him actually doing it…the next time I come up there is a new patio or porch to enjoy.
